Donations
Mercy Care's core business is to support women and their children so we have chosen to use the International Women's colours for our website which are purple, green and white.
Mercy Care, a work of the Sisters of Mercy, relies on the generosity of volunteers and donors. Apart from the professional assistance given by the service, it also provides free emergency accommodation, food, clothing and toiletries to women and their accompanying children who are victims of Family Violence. In 2007 Mercy Care accommodated more than 300 women and almost 400 children.
Funds donated to Mercy Care assist the continued delivery of this high quality service. Key areas of expenditure for funds donated include:
- Women's and Children's sleepwear and underwear
- Provision of toiletries and nappies
- Children's toys and clothing
- Food

Financial donations to assist with the purchase of these items can be made by cheque, payable to Mercy Care and sent to the Coordinator at:

A tax deductible receipt for all donations will be forwarded to the donor on request. Please include a return address with your donation so a receipt can be issued.
Donations of new goods
Mercy Care is grateful for the support of suppliers who contribute large donations of new clothing, toys, toiletries, non-perishable foods and other items.
